Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Flathead screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver
- Wire strippers
- Level
- Drill (optional)
Step-by-Step Installation
- Turn Off Power: Turn off power to your HVAC system at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
- Remove Old Thermostat: Carefully remove the cover of your existing thermostat and disconnect wires, labeling each wire with provided labels.
- Mount Backplate: Position the Lux 500 backplate on the wall, ensuring it's level, and mark screw holes. Drill pilot holes if needed.
- Connect Wires: Connect labeled wires to corresponding terminals on the Lux 500 backplate (R, C, W, Y, G, etc.).
- Attach Thermostat: Align the thermostat with the backplate and press firmly until it clicks into place.
- Restore Power: Turn power back on at the circuit breaker.
- Initial Setup: Follow on-screen prompts to configure time, date, and heating/cooling preferences.

Programming Modes Explained
Heat Mode

Troubleshooting
