Stacked Laundry Center

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Pipe wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, near necessary plumbing and electrical connections on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts, brackets and packaging materials from both washer and dryer units.
  3. Stacking Preparation: Ensure stacking kit is properly installed according to manufacturer instructions for secure attachment.
  4. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot and cold water supply lines to the washer water inlet valves. Use only new hoses.
  5. Connect Drain Hose: Route the drain hose into a standpipe or laundry tub with a high loop to prevent backflow.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 240V, 60Hz outlet for dryer and 120V for washer. Do not use extension cords.
  7. Ventilation Setup: Install proper exhaust venting for dryer according to local building codes.
  8. Level the Unit: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the stacked unit is level from front to back and side to side.
  9. Test Run: Run both washer and dryer through complete cycles to check for proper operation.
Warning: All installations must be performed by a qualified installer to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage. Stacking requires proper kit and professional installation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
