Tools Needed:
- Flathead screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver
- Wire stripper
- Voltage tester

Step-by-Step Installation
- Turn Off Power: Turn off power to the heating/cooling system at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Remove Old Thermostat: Remove the cover of your old thermostat and disconnect wires, labeling each wire with the provided labels.
- Mount New Base Plate: Position the LUX 500 base plate on the wall and mark screw holes. Drill holes and secure with screws.
- Connect Wires: Connect labeled wires to corresponding terminals on the LUX 500 base plate (R, W, Y, G, C).
- Attach Thermostat: Align the thermostat with the base plate and snap into place until it clicks securely.
- Restore Power: Turn power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Initial Setup: Follow on-screen prompts to set time, date, and temperature preferences.
