Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Flathead screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver
- Wire stripper
- Voltage tester

- Drill (if needed for mounting)
Step-by-Step Installation
- Turn Off Power: Turn off power to the HVAC system at the circuit breaker to ensure safety during installation.
- Remove Old Thermostat: Carefully remove the cover of your existing thermostat and disconnect wires, labeling each wire according to its terminal.
- Mount New Base Plate: Use the provided screws to mount the Lux thermostat base plate to the wall, ensuring it is level.
- Connect Wires: Connect the labeled wires to the corresponding terminals on the Lux thermostat base plate (R, C, W, Y, G, etc.).
- Attach Thermostat: Align the thermostat unit with the base plate and press firmly until it clicks into place.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
- Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to set up time, date, temperature preferences, and system configuration.
