Programmable Thermostat

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Small flathead screwdriver
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Wire strippers
  • Voltage tester
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Power Off: Turn off power to the heating/cooling system at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
  2. Remove Old Thermostat: Carefully remove the cover of your existing thermostat and disconnect wires, labeling each wire with the provided labels.
  3. Mount Backplate: Secure the new thermostat backplate to the wall using included screws, ensuring it is level.
  4. Connect Wires: Connect labeled wires to corresponding terminals on the backplate (R, W, Y, G, C, etc.).
  5. Attach Thermostat: Align the thermostat unit with the backplate and snap into place until it clicks securely.
  6. Power On: Restore power at the circuit breaker and wait for the thermostat to initialize.
  7. Initial Setup: Follow on-screen prompts to set time, date, and basic system configuration.
Warning: Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician to ensure proper wiring and system compatibility.

Troubleshooting
