- Flathead screwdriver

Step-by-Step Installation
- Turn Off Power: Turn off power to the HVAC system at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
- Remove Old Thermostat: Carefully remove the cover of your old thermostat and disconnect wires, labeling each wire with the corresponding terminal letter.
- Mount Backplate: Secure the Luxpro 500 backplate to the wall using the provided screws, ensuring it is level.
- Connect Wires: Connect the labeled wires to the corresponding terminals on the Luxpro 500 backplate (R, C, W, Y, G, etc.).
- Attach Thermostat: Align the thermostat unit with the backplate and snap it into place securely.
- Restore Power: Turn the HVAC system power back on at the circuit breaker.
- Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to set time, date, and preferred temperature settings.

Troubleshooting
