Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable to connect phone to PoE switch or router.
  2. Connect handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  3. Connect power: If not using PoE, connect power adapter to phone and outlet.
  4. Connect headset: Optional headset to headset jack for hands-free operation.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapters. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network configuration: Phone may auto-detect settings via DHCP; otherwise, enter manually.
  2. Server registration: Enter SIP server address, username, and password provided by IT.
  3. Set language: In SETTINGS menu, select preferred language (default ENGLISH).
  4. Program keys: Assign functions (speed dial, BLF, etc.) to programmable keys.

CAUTION! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents on phone.

Access menu via MENU button. Front Panel: LCD, Soft keys, Navigation pad, MUTE, HEADSET, SPEAKERPHONE.

Programmable Keys: Can be set for speed dial, call park, BLF, or feature access.

Audio Settings: Handset volume, speaker volume, ringer volume, tone settings. Network: IP configuration, VLAN, QoS. Phone Settings: Time/date, language, screen contrast, ring tones. Features: Call forward, do not disturb, auto answer, call waiting.

Connecting Devices

Network: Ethernet cable to switch/router. Headset: 3.5mm or USB headset to appropriate jack. Expansion: Optional sidecar for additional programmable keys.

  1. Turn off phone before connecting accessories.
  2. Match connectors (Ethernet to LAN port, headset to headset jack).
  3. Power on phone; accessory should be detected automatically.

Tip: Use Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable for optimal performance.

Advanced Call Features

Supports standard and advanced telephony features.

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press SPEAKERPHONE; dial number.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset, press SPEAKERPHONE, or press ANSWER soft key.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD button during active call.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Conference: Press CONFERENCE during call, dial second party, press CONFERENCE again.
  6. Call forward: Enable in features menu or via * codes.
  7. Do not disturb: Activate to silence ringer and send calls to voicemail.
  8. Speed dial: Program keys for one-touch dialing.

WARNING! Do not use phone during electrical storms for safety.
