Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place phone on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug an Ethernet cable from your network switch/router into the LAN port on the phone.
  2. Connect PC (Optional): Plug another Ethernet cable from the PC port on the phone to your computer.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug the handset cord into the dedicated jack on the phone.
  4. Power the Phone: Use the provided power adapter OR ensure your network switch provides PoE.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will boot and attempt to obtain network configuration.

  1. Network Configuration: The phone will typically obtain an IP address via DHCP. Check the screen for the IP address.
  2. Access Web Interface: Enter the phone's IP address into a web browser to access the configuration page.
  3. Provisioning: Enter the SIP server address, extension number, and authentication credentials as provided by your service provider.
  4. Verify Registration: The phone screen should show the extension number and "Registered" status.

CAUTION! Handle the handset and phone with care. Avoid placing in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

Controls and Settings

Access menus via the navigation button and soft keys below the display. Front Buttons: MUTE, HEADSET, SPEAKERPHONE, NAVIGATION CLUSTER, VOLUME UP/DOWN.

Soft Keys: Context-sensitive keys for functions like Call, End Call, Hold, Transfer, Conference, Directory.

Settings Menu: Navigate to access Network, Audio, Display, and Phone settings. Audio: Adjust handset, speaker, and ringer volume. Display: Set contrast, backlight timeout, screen saver. Network: View IP address, configure VLAN, QoS. Phone: Set date/time, language, ring tones.

Connecting to Network

Primary connection via LAN port. Optional PC pass-through via PC port.

  2. Connect Ethernet cable from switch to phone's LAN port.
  3. For PC connection, use second cable from phone's PC port to computer's Ethernet port.
  4. Power via PoE or external adapter.

Tip: Use quality CAT5e or CAT6 cables for optimal performance.

Making and Receiving Calls

Basic telephony operations.

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset OR press SPEAKERPHONE. Dial number using keypad. Press Call soft key or Dial key.
  2. Receive a Call: Phone will ring. Lift handset OR press SPEAKERPHONE OR press the Answer soft key.
  3. End a Call: Place handset on cradle OR press End Call soft key.
  4. Hold: Press Hold soft key during a call. Resume by pressing Resume soft key.
  5. Transfer: During a call, press Transfer, dial the target number, then press Transfer again.
  6. Conference: During first call, press Conference, dial second party, press Conference again to merge.

WARNING! Do not use excessive force on keys or handset. Keep liquids away from the phone.

Advanced Features

Speed Dials: Program frequently used numbers to line keys via web interface. Call Forwarding: Configure via phone menu or web interface (Always, Busy, No Answer). Directory: Access personal and corporate directories. Do Not Disturb (DND): Activate to silence ringer for incoming calls.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug power before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.

CAUTION! Never spray liquids directly onto the phone. Avoid getting moisture into openings.
