Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
- Power adapter (included)
- Handset and cord
- Network switch with PoE support
- Screwdriver (if mounting to wall)
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all components from packaging and verify contents: phone base, handset, handset cord, Ethernet cable, power adapter, and documentation.
- Connect to Network: Connect the Ethernet cable from your network switch (with PoE) to the LAN port on the VVX 450. If PoE is not available, connect the power adapter.
- Connect Handset: Attach the handset cord to the handset and the designated port on the phone base.
- Power On: Connect power (if not using PoE) and wait for the phone to boot. The LCD screen will display startup information.
- Network Configuration: The phone will attempt to obtain an IP address via DHCP. For static IP configuration, use the phone's web interface or keypad menu.
- Server Configuration: Configure SIP server settings through the web interface or provision via centralized management system.
- Test Functionality: Make test calls to verify audio quality, check for dial tone, and test all programmable keys.

Troubleshooting
