Tools Needed:
- Network cable tester

- Punch down tool
- Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher)
- Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector or switch
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near network infrastructure with proper ventilation and accessibility.
- Unpack System Components: Remove all components from packaging including base unit, handsets, power adapters, and mounting hardware.
- Connect Network Cables: Connect Ethernet cables from your network switch to the Poly system base unit using Cat5e or higher cables.
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the base unit or use Power over Ethernet (PoE) if supported by your network switch.
- Handset Setup: Register handsets with the base unit following the on-screen prompts or using the web interface.
- Network Configuration: Configure IP settings either via DHCP or static IP assignment based on your network requirements.
- System Testing: Test internal and external calls to ensure proper functionality of all features.
