Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface near a network outlet.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug an Ethernet cable from your network switch/router into the LAN port on the phone.
  2. Connect to Computer (Optional): Plug a second Ethernet cable from the PC port on the phone to your computer.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug the handset cable into the dedicated jack on the phone.
  4. Connect Headset (Optional): Plug a compatible headset into the headset jack.
  5. Apply Power: Use the provided power adapter OR ensure your network switch provides PoE.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will attempt to boot and register with your IP telephony system.

  1. Network Configuration: The phone may obtain an IP address automatically via DHCP. Check the screen for the IP address.
  2. Provisioning: Enter the provisioning server URL provided by your administrator in the phone's web interface or settings menu.
  3. Set Language: In the Settings menu, select your preferred language (default is ENGLISH).
  4. Configure Time/Date: Set the correct time zone and date format.
  5. Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio quality and registration.

CAUTION! Do not disconnect power during firmware updates.

Using Phone Features

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press Speaker, dial number, or use a speed dial key.
  2. Answer a Call: Press the flashing line key, ANSWER soft key, or lift handset.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD button during a call.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER soft key, dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Conference: During a call, press CONFERENCE soft key, dial second party, press CONFERENCE again to merge.
  6. Voicemail: Press the Messages key or dial your voicemail access number.
  7. Call History: Press the Directory key to view missed, received, and placed calls.
  8. Speed Dial: Program frequently dialed numbers to programmable keys.

WARNING! Do not use excessive force on buttons or keys.
