Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug an Ethernet cable from your network switch/router into the LAN/PoE port on the phone.
  2. Connect a PC (Optional): Plug a second Ethernet cable from the PC port on the phone to your computer.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug the coiled handset cord into the dedicated jack on the phone.
  4. Power the Phone: Use the provided power adapter OR ensure your network switch provides PoE. The phone will boot up.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are securely connected to avoid damage.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; follow on-screen prompts and configuration from your system administrator.

  1. Network Registration: The phone will attempt to contact the provisioning server (e.g., UC platform).
  2. Set Language: Press the 'Settings' key, navigate to User Preferences > Language, and select your preferred language.
  3. Configure Time & Date: Settings will typically sync from the network. Verify in Settings > Preferences > Time and Date.
  4. Set Up Accounts: Your administrator will provision your extension(s). Lines will appear on the screen once registered.
  5. Adjust Audio: Use the volume keys during a call to set handset/speaker levels to your preference.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to disassemble the phone. Refer configuration to your IT administrator.

Using Phone Features

Supports basic and advanced telephony features.

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press SPEAKER/HEADSET, dial number, or press a programmed line key.
  2. Answer a Call: Lift handset, press SPEAKER, or press the flashing line key.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD key during a call. Press the held line key to resume.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial the transfer-to number, announce the call (optional), press TRANSFER again to complete.
  5. Conference: During first call, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE again to merge.
  6. Voicemail: Press MESSAGE key or dial your voicemail access number.
  7. Adjust Volume: Use Volume Up/Down keys during a call (for handset/speaker) or while idle (for ringer).
  8. Mute: Press MUTE key to mute your microphone. Press again to unmute.

WARNING! Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners on the phone. Keep liquids away from the device.

Accessibility Features

Visual Alerts: Flashing LED for missed calls/messages. Audio: Adjustable ringer volume and tone profiles. Display: Adjustable screen contrast and backlight timeout.

Care & Cleaning
