Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug Ethernet cable from your network switch/router into the LAN port.
  2. Connect a Computer (Optional): Plug a PC into the PC Ethernet port.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug the handset cord into the dedicated jack.
  4. Apply Power: Use Power over Ethernet (PoE) or connect the optional power adapter.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are routed to avoid tripping hazards.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will attempt to boot and obtain network configuration.

  1. Obtain IP Address: Phone will request an IP via DHCP by default. Check the screen or settings menu for the assigned IP.
  2. Configure Server: Enter your PBX server address via the web configuration interface or phone menu.
  3. Register Extension: Enter extension number and authentication credentials provided by your administrator.
  4. Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio and registration.

CAUTION! Do not place the phone in areas with excessive heat, moisture, or dust.

Access menus via the NAVIGATION keys and softkeys below the display. Front Keys: MUTE, HEADSET, SPEAKERPHONE, VOLUME UP/DOWN.

Softkeys: Context-sensitive keys for call actions (Answer, Hold, Transfer, etc.).

Settings Menu: Navigate to configure Network, Audio (ringer, handset, speaker volumes), Time & Date, Screen contrast, Language. Web Interface: Access via phone's IP address for advanced configuration (SIP accounts, feature key programming, firmware updates).

Connecting Devices

Network: LAN port to switch. PC: PC port to computer NIC. Headset: 3.5mm jack.

  1. Ensure phone is powered off before connecting cables.
  2. Match Ethernet cables to correct ports (LAN vs PC).
  3. For headset use, plug in and press the HEADSET key to activate.

Tip: Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cables for reliable PoE and data performance.

Making and Managing Calls

Supports basic and advanced telephony features.

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press SPEAKERPHONE/HEADSET, dial number, press DIAL softkey or wait.
  2. Answer a Call: Press ANSWER softkey, lift handset, or press SPEAKERPHONE/HEADSET.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD softkey during a call.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target number, announce call, press TRANSFER again to complete.
  5. Conference: Press CONFERENCE during first call, dial second party, press CONFERENCE again to merge.
  6. Forward Calls: Access Call Forwarding via menu or programmed feature key.
  7. Voicemail: Press the voicemail key or dial your voicemail access number.
  8. Adjust Volume: Use VOLUME keys during a call or in idle mode for ringer volume.

WARNING! Do not use the phone with wet hands. Keep liquids away from the device.

Accessibility Features

Visual Alerts: Flashing LED for incoming calls. Audio: Adjustable ringer volume and tone. Display: Adjustable contrast and backlight timeout.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
