Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the LAN/PoE port on the phone and the other end into your network switch or router.
  2. Connect Handset: Plug the handset cord into the dedicated handset jack.
  3. Power the Phone: If using PoE, the phone will power on automatically. If not, connect the provided power adapter to the DC port and a wall outlet.
  4. Optional Connections: Connect a headset to the headset jack or a USB accessory to the USB port.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are routed to avoid tripping hazards.

First-Time Setup

The phone will boot up and attempt to obtain network configuration.

  1. Network Registration: The phone will typically auto-provision from your IP PBX or service provider. Follow on-screen prompts if manual entry is required (IP address, SIP server, etc.).
  2. Set Language: In the Settings menu, select your preferred language.
  3. Configure Line Keys: Assign line appearances or speed dial numbers to the programmable keys via the web interface or phone menu.
  4. Adjust Audio: Set handset, speaker, and ringer volume to comfortable levels using the volume keys.

CAUTION! Do not unplug the phone during the boot or firmware update process.

Making and Receiving Calls

Supports standard telephony features.

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press Speaker. Dial number using the keypad and press Dial soft key or wait.
  2. Receive a Call: Answer by lifting handset, pressing Speaker, or pressing the Answer soft key.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD button. Resume by pressing the flashing line key or Resume soft key.
  4. Transfer: During a call, press Transfer, dial the target number, and press Transfer again to complete.
  5. Conference: During first call, press Conference, dial second party, and press Conference again to merge.
  6. Mute: Press MUTE button to toggle microphone on/off.
  7. Volume: Adjust handset, speaker, or ringer volume with dedicated volume keys.
  8. Directory: Access personal and corporate directories from the Directory soft key.

WARNING! Do not use the phone in a wet environment. Keep liquids away from the device.

Accessibility Features

Care & Cleaning
