Conference Phone System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (CAT5e or higher)
  • Power adapter
  • Network switch/router
  • Screwdriver (if wall mounting)
  • Microfiber cloth

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a central location in the conference room with access to power and network connections.
  2. Unpack Components: Remove all packaging materials including the phone unit, handset, power adapter, and documentation.
  3. Connect Network Cable: Connect the Ethernet cable from your network switch/router to the LAN port on the Polycom phone.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the phone and plug into a grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Handset Connection: Connect the handset to the designated port on the phone unit.
  6. Initial Setup: Power on the device and follow the on-screen prompts for initial configuration.
  7. Test Functionality: Make a test call to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
