Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug Ethernet cable from your network switch/router into the LAN port.
  2. Connect Computer (Optional): Plug a second Ethernet cable from the PC port to your computer.
  3. Power the Phone: Use the included power adapter OR ensure your network switch provides PoE.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug the coiled handset cord into the dedicated handset jack.
  5. Connect Headset (Optional): Plug a compatible headset into the headset jack.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will attempt to boot and obtain network configuration.

  1. Network Configuration: The phone may auto-configure via DHCP. Check the display for an IP address.
  2. Server Provisioning: Enter your VoIP server address if required (via web interface or keypad).
  3. Set Language: Press the Menu button, navigate to Settings > Preferences > Language.
  4. Program Keys: Assign line appearances or speed dials via the web configuration interface.
  5. Audio Adjustment: Test and adjust handset, speaker, and headset volume using the volume keys.

CAUTION! Do not expose to liquids. Place in a well-ventilated area.

Connecting Devices

Network: Use standard Ethernet cable to LAN port. Computer: Connect to PC port for pass-through. Headset: Use 3.5mm plug.

  1. Ensure phone is powered off or disconnected before making connections.
  2. Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cables for Gigabit performance.
  3. For PoE, verify your network switch provides adequate power (802.3af).
  4. For headset use, enable the headset mode via the Headset button.

Tip: Label cables for easy identification during maintenance.

Advanced Call Features

Supports standard and advanced telephony features.

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number, press Dial softkey.
  2. Answer a Call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press the Answer softkey.
  3. Hold: Press Hold button during a call.
  4. Transfer: During a call, press Transfer, dial target number, press Transfer again.
  5. Conference: During first call, press Conference, dial second party, press Conference again to merge.
  6. Call Forwarding: Configure via web interface or feature codes (e.g., *72).
  7. Voicemail: Press the Messages key or dial your voicemail access number.
  8. Redial: Press the Redial key or select from call history.

WARNING! Do not use the phone during an electrical storm. Use a surge protector.

Accessibility Features

Visual Alerts: Flashing LED for incoming calls/messages. Audio Adjustments: Independent volume control for ringer, handset, speaker, headset. TTY Compatibility: Can be used with compatible TTY devices when configured.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth for the housing and display. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or sprays directly on the phone.
