Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug an Ethernet cable from your network switch/router into the LAN/PoE port on the phone.
  2. Connect to Computer (Optional): Use the PC Ethernet port on the phone to connect your computer, sharing the network connection.
  3. Power the Phone: Use either Power over Ethernet (PoE) from a compatible switch or connect the included AC power adapter to the DC power port.
  4. Connect Handset and Headset: Plug the coiled handset cord into the HANDSET jack. Plug a headset into the HEADSET jack if desired.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will boot and attempt to receive configuration from the network.

  1. Network Configuration: If using DHCP (default), the phone will obtain an IP address automatically. For static IP, configure via the phone's web interface.
  2. Server Configuration: The phone typically auto-discovers the call server (e.g., SIP, BroadSoft). Manual provisioning may be required by your administrator.
