IP Phone Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Handset and cord
  • Screwdriver (for wall mounting)
  • Network configuration details

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all components from packaging and verify contents including phone, handset, cables, and documentation.
  2. Connect Network Cable: Connect Ethernet cable from your network switch/router to the LAN port on the Polycom phone.
  3. Power Connection: Connect power adapter if not using Power over Ethernet (PoE), or ensure your switch provides PoE.
  4. Connect Handset: Attach handset cord to the handset port on the phone and the handset itself.
  5. Optional Accessories: Connect additional devices such as headsets, expansion modules, or sidecars if applicable.
  6. Power On: Connect power and wait for the phone to boot up and display the home screen.
  7. Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to configure network settings or use web interface for advanced setup.
  8. Test Functionality: Make test calls to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
