Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all components from packaging and verify contents including phone, handset, cables, and documentation.
- Connect Network Cable: Connect Ethernet cable from your network switch/router to the LAN port on the Polycom phone.
- Power Connection: Connect power adapter if not using Power over Ethernet (PoE), or ensure your switch provides PoE.
- Connect Handset: Attach handset cord to the handset port on the phone and the handset itself.
- Optional Accessories: Connect additional devices such as headsets, expansion modules, or sidecars if applicable.
- Power On: Connect power and wait for the phone to boot up and display the home screen.
- Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to configure network settings or use web interface for advanced setup.
- Test Functionality: Make test calls to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
