IP Phone Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Screwdriver (for wall mount)
  • Network switch with PoE support
  • Computer for configuration

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with good ventilation, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  2. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and check for any visible damage to the phone.
  3. Network Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from your network switch to the LAN port on the phone. For PoE, ensure switch supports 802.3af/at.
  4. Power Connection: If not using PoE, connect the provided power adapter to the phone and power outlet.
  5. Handset and Cables: Connect the handset to the handset port and optional headset to the headset port if available.
  6. Power On: Press the power button or wait for PoE to activate the phone. The phone will boot up and attempt to obtain an IP address.
  7. Configuration: Access the web interface using the phone's IP address to configure SIP settings and user preferences.
Warning: All network configurations should be performed by qualified IT personnel to ensure proper operation and security.

Troubleshooting
