Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
- Power adapter (if not using PoE)
- Screwdriver (for wall mount)
- Network switch with PoE support
- Computer for configuration
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with good ventilation, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and check for any visible damage to the phone.
- Network Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from your network switch to the LAN port on the phone. For PoE, ensure switch supports 802.3af/at.
- Power Connection: If not using PoE, connect the provided power adapter to the phone and power outlet.
- Handset and Cables: Connect the handset to the handset port and optional headset to the headset port if available.
- Power On: Press the power button or wait for PoE to activate the phone. The phone will boot up and attempt to obtain an IP address.
- Configuration: Access the web interface using the phone's IP address to configure SIP settings and user preferences.
