Business VoIP Phone Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (CAT5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Handset cable
  • Screwdriver (for wall mounting)
  • Network switch with PoE capability

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and verify all components are present (phone, handset, cables, documentation).
  2. Connect to Network: Connect the Ethernet cable from your network switch to the LAN port on the Polycom phone. For PoE models, this will also provide power.
  3. Power Connection: If not using PoE, connect the power adapter to the phone and plug into a power outlet.
  4. Handset Connection: Connect the handset cable to the handset port on the phone and the handset itself.
  5. Optional Accessories: Connect additional accessories such as headsets, expansion modules, or external speakers if applicable.
  6. Power On: Press the power button or wait for PoE to initialize. The phone will boot up and attempt to register with your VoIP server.
  7. Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to configure network settings, SIP account information, and user preferences.
  8. Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio quality and proper registration with your VoIP service.
