Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with good network connectivity and within reach of power source if not using PoE.
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and check for any visible damage to the phone.
- Connect Network Cable: Connect the Ethernet cable from your network switch to the LAN port on the Polycom phone.
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter if not using Power over Ethernet (PoE), or ensure your switch provides PoE.
- Handset and Accessories: Connect the handset cord to the handset port and attach any additional accessories like headsets.
- Power On: Press the power button or connect power to boot up the phone.
- Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to configure network settings and SIP account information.
- Test Functionality: Make a test call to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
