Business VoIP Phones

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Network switch with PoE support
  • Screwdriver (for wall mounting)
  • Network configuration details

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with good network connectivity and within reach of power source if not using PoE.
  2. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and check for any visible damage to the phone.
  3. Connect Network Cable: Connect the Ethernet cable from your network switch to the LAN port on the Polycom phone.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter if not using Power over Ethernet (PoE), or ensure your switch provides PoE.
  5. Handset and Accessories: Connect the handset cord to the handset port and attach any additional accessories like headsets.
  6. Power On: Press the power button or connect power to boot up the phone.
  7. Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to configure network settings and SIP account information.
  8. Test Functionality: Make a test call to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
