Business VoIP Phones

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Handset cord
  • Screwdriver (for wall mounting)
  • Network switch with PoE capability

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all components from packaging and verify all parts are present (phone base, handset, cables, documentation).
  2. Connect to Network: Connect one end of Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone and the other end to your network switch or router.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the phone and power outlet, or ensure PoE is enabled on your network switch.
  4. Handset Connection: Connect the handset cord to the handset port on the phone base and the handset itself.
  5. Optional Accessories: Connect additional accessories like headsets or expansion modules if applicable.
  6. Power On: Press the power button or wait for PoE to activate the phone. The phone will boot up and attempt to obtain network configuration.
  7. Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to configure network settings or wait for automatic provisioning from your VoIP server.
  8. Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio quality and functionality of all features.
Warning: Ensure proper network configuration and security settings are applied. For enterprise deployments, consult with your IT administrator.
