Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to router/switch. Use PC port to connect computer if needed.
  2. Connect Handset: Plug handset cord into dedicated jack on phone base.
  3. Connect Power: Use included power adapter or utilize PoE if supported by network switch.
  4. Optional Headset: Plug compatible headset into headset jack.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Configuration: Phone should auto-detect network via DHCP. Check for IP address on screen.
  2. Provisioning: Enter account credentials or wait for auto-provisioning from RingCentral cloud.
  3. Set Language: In Settings menu, select preferred language (default ENGLISH).
  4. Adjust Audio: Set ringer volume, handset volume, and speaker volume to desired levels.
  5. Configure Soft Keys: Assign frequently used functions to programmable keys.

CAUTION! Do not disconnect power during firmware updates.

  3. Connect computer to phone's PC port if needed for pass-through.
  4. Power on phone and verify network connection.

Tip: Use quality CAT5e or higher Ethernet cables for best performance.

Making and Managing Calls

Supports basic and advanced call functions.

  1. Make Call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number, press Dial or Send key.
  2. Answer Call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press Answer soft key.
  3. End Call: Hang up handset or press End Call key.
  4. Hold: Press Hold button to place call on hold.
  5. Transfer: During call, press Transfer, dial target number, press Transfer again.
  6. Conference: During call, press Conference, dial second party, press Conference again to merge.
  7. Voicemail: Press Voicemail key or dial voicemail access number.
  8. Call Forward: Enable in Call Features menu or via soft key.

WARNING! Emergency calls may require proper address registration with service provider.
