Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Hex key set (included)
  • Allen wrenches
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Leveling tool
  • Pliers

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully unpack all components and verify all parts are included according to the packing list.
  2. Assemble Frame: Connect the aluminum frame sections using the provided bolts and hex keys.
  3. Install Print Bed: Mount the heated print bed onto the Y-axis carriage and secure with provided screws.
  4. Install Extruder Assembly: Mount the hotend and extruder assembly onto the X-axis carriage.
  5. Connect Electronics: Route and connect all cables to the main control board following the color-coded connectors.
  6. Level the Print Bed: Use the manual leveling knobs to ensure the print bed is perfectly level.
  7. Initial Calibration: Run the auto-calibration routine and perform first layer calibration.
  8. Test Print: Load filament and run the included test print to verify proper operation.
Warning: Installation should be performed on a stable, level surface away from flammable materials. Keep children and pets away during assembly.

Key Features

Dual Z-Axis Drive

Two independent Z-axis motors provide exceptional stability and precision, eliminating layer shifting and ensuring consistent print quality across the entire build volume.

Auto Bed Leveling

Advanced 25-point auto bed leveling system with inductive sensor ensures perfect first layers every time, reducing failed prints and manual calibration time.

Direct Drive Extruder

High-torque direct drive extruder provides superior filament control, enabling printing with flexible materials and reducing stringing with standard filaments.

Silent Stepper Drivers

TMC2209 silent stepper drivers reduce operational noise to library-quiet levels while maintaining precise motor control and smooth movement.

All-Metal Hotend

Capable of reaching 300°C, the all-metal hotend allows printing with advanced materials including ABS, PETG, Nylon, and composite filaments.

Filament Runout Sensor

Integrated sensor pauses printing when filament runs out, allowing you to reload and resume printing without losing your print.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling builds objects layer by layer using melted thermoplastic filament

Heated Build Plate

Maintains optimal temperature to prevent warping and improve adhesion for various materials

Precision Motion System

Linear rails and precision ball screws ensure accurate movement and repeatable results

Multi-Material Support

Compatible with PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, Wood, Metal, and Carbon Fiber composites

Enclosed Chamber

Optional enclosure maintains stable temperature for printing advanced materials

Network Connectivity

Remote monitoring and control via web interface and mobile app

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, emergency stop engaged Check power supply, ensure emergency stop button is released
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height, dirty build surface Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface with isopropyl alcohol
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping, filament tangled Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, ensure filament spool rotates freely
Layer shifting Belt tension issues, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Check and adjust belt tension, ensure smooth movement, check cooling
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings incorrect, temperature too high Adjust retraction distance and speed, lower printing temperature
Warping/corner lift Bed temperature too low, cooling too aggressive, draft Increase bed temperature, reduce part cooling fan speed, use enclosure

Error Codes

  • E1: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
  • E2: Bed heating failed - Check bed thermistor and heater
  • E3: Thermal runaway - Check cooling and thermal protection
  • E4: Filament runout - Reload filament and resume print
  • E5: Over-temperature - Allow printer to cool and restart
  • E6: Under-temperature - Check heating elements and thermistors
