TSP100 / TSP650 Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • USB cable (Type-B)
  • Power cable
  • Roll paper (57mm/80mm)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack Printer: Remove all packaging materials and protective tape from the printer.
  2. Load Paper: Open the paper compartment and load thermal paper roll with the paper feeding from the bottom.
  3. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the printer and plug into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Connect to Computer: Use the USB cable to connect the printer to your computer or POS system.
  5. Install Drivers: Download and install the latest drivers from the Star Micronics website for your operating system.
  6. Test Print: Run a test print from the printer's self-test function or from your computer.
