High-Speed Receipt Printer

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • USB cable (Type-B to Type-A)
  • Power cable
  • Roll paper (57mm/80mm)
  • Screwdriver (if mounting)
  • Driver installation software

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove printer from packaging and check for any visible damage. Ensure all components are present.
  2. Load Paper: Open the paper cover and load thermal paper roll with the paper feeding from the bottom.
  3. Connect Power: Connect the power cable to the printer and plug into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Connect to Computer: Connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer or POS system.
  5. Install Drivers: Install the appropriate drivers from the included CD or download from Star website.
  6. Test Print: Run the self-test by holding the FEED button while turning on the power.
  7. Configure Settings: Configure printer settings using the control panel or configuration software.
