Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove printer from packaging and check for any visible damage. Ensure all components are present.
- Load Paper: Open the paper cover and load thermal paper roll with the paper feeding from the bottom.
- Connect Power: Connect the power cable to the printer and plug into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Connect to Computer: Connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer or POS system.
- Install Drivers: Install the appropriate drivers from the included CD or download from Star website.
- Test Print: Run the self-test by holding the FEED button while turning on the power.
- Configure Settings: Configure printer settings using the control panel or configuration software.
